About Viking Fight Fitness

Is fitness on your agenda but you’re not a gym bunny? Well, there are other great workouts that can help you burn calories, get rid of stress, and gives you an incredible sense of accomplishment. Hi, I'm Aled Jones, a personal trainer and a professional Muay Thai fighter. I have 20 years of experience in weightlifting, 15 years in boxing, and 10 years in Muay Thai. I strongly believe that workouts shouldn’t be boring and I like to train my clients in an enjoyable and dynamic way so they feel engaged and stay interested. I still compete in Muay Thai tournaments and can relate to the goals and struggles of my clients. I encourage them in the right way to get through their training sessions. As a boxing specialist, technique is significant and make sure I take the time at the beginning to see that my clients learn the right techniques. It may seem like it’s slow going at the start but this is so that you’ve carefully mastered the techniques to avoid any injuries later down the line. A lot of my clients are first apprehensive about boxing or martial arts but a few sessions down the line, they are the most enthusiastic ones after being amazed by the results! Alongside the physical aspect, I also offer nutritional/diet advice that best matches your training programme. You’ll need tons of energy for the intense workouts so it’s critical to ensure your food intake is right so you can keep up and stay focused. For your first session, I will discuss your goals and see what concerns or issues you have and then assess your current fitness level. This will enable me to customise a training plan for you. I tell all my clients that the first step is overcoming any mental obstacles towards a fitter and healthier life. I’ve been through all the highs and lows and will give you the push in the right direction. Been getting PT sessions with Aled for past 6 months now. I've used other instructors in the past but have been let down- not with Aled though. Always enjoyable and he is very knowledgable about where I am with my fitness goals. His sessions are varied which helps me keep my focus. Glad to say I've made some real progress and look forward to continuing. A top pro and very reliable. Recomend!!

My boyfriend and I were looking to get fit before our beach holiday of the year to Bali and Thailand and Aled was amazing. My goal was to be more toned and my boyfriend wanted to build more muscle and definition. Aled gave us a realistic plan at the start of our sessions which made me feel at ease and achievable. We also received fantastic nutrition advice which we have continued to abide to since after our holiday. The sessions were super fun and it never felt laborious. We purchased the 10 pack and definitely noticed a difference even just half way through. Aled was definitely the right trainer for us as he adapted to our needs and lifestyle. Now that we are back from our holiday, we have booked more sessions. Highly recommend.

Aled has been my Personal Trainer for over a year now and I cannot stress how brilliant his sessions are, they are the highlights to my week! I could be using Kettlebells one day, doing Muay Thai another day, or focusing on abs the other... each session is super fun, unpredictable, and doesn't make keeping fit feel like a chore at all! My personal aim was body toning, to learn Muay Thai and building my strength + flexibility up overall as I also love swimming but needed to improve my stamina... the Muay Thai really helped with this and I would highly recommend incorporating this into your fitness regime. Aled also gave me excellent advice on nutrition and after showing him a weekly food diary I had kept, he made small tweaks to my usual/favourite meals just to make them that 'little' bit healthier without any drastic action. Aled has the perfect balance of patience, putting you at ease and knowing when you need that extra push to really do the best you can! Highly recommend!

I have been training for years already but he definitely pushed me to thaw next level with my training as results.
