I hired V Event to organise my sister’s birthday celebrations during the pandemic. I got in touch with V Event coordinator 2 days before the celebration, as I was clueless of what to put together under the current circumstance. Let me tell you V Events exceeded my expectations! I had a first consultation where we underlined the details of the day, after that I completely trusted to leave everything in their hands and I was right! V Events managed to get my sister’s requested cheese cake under one day, the organisation and attention to details were incredible! I had the opportunity to work with different events planners but this is the first time I had to write a review, we stayed within the pre established budget and still maintained the highest standards! I will absolutely use V Events in the future and will highly recommend!

WEDDINGS*: - Initial consultation: FREE - Event Planning Fee: 12,5% - 15% for events over £15,000. For events below £15,000 minimum Event Planning Fee is £2,000. *intimate and smaller weddings are evaluated differently based on clients’ need. CORPORATE: minimum spend depends on type and size of corporate event
What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?
The first step is to have an initial consultation to understand what the client needs are in order to tailor a proposal to best suit the client. After the initial consultation, should the client decide to give us a chance to offer a bespoke proposal, we shall go ahead with it. Should the client be happy with the proposal, a contract will be signed and V Signature Events will make your dream event come through!

Describe a recent project that went well. Scope? How long did it take?
Surprise Birthday Party!! The scope was to surprise the birthday celebrant during a regular service. Everybody was to record a short video to be then put together. A cake was also bought and during the regular service the celebrant was called to the front of the audience as the video was projected and it started playing. Following that the cake entered from the back of the room with candles and and lovely props. Might sound very “simple”, but the most beautiful part was when the celebrant saw the parents coming in after not being able to see them for 2 years for personal reasons. It was such a memorable birthday celebration! The whole organisation took me 6 days.
How did you first get into this line of work?
I studied to become a professional event planner and started by working as a PA to Roberta Sabbatini (Italian Wedding Planner). Also started by doing a numerous voluntaries in many different fields. Some of them are: - Street Marshall at The Royal Half Marathon London - Event Assistant at the London Lifestyle Awards - Theatre Manager for different conferences at London Olympia and Excel (i.e. National Wedding Show, DPC, CONFEX) - Volunteer Manager and event coordinator at West London’s Marathon
