About Mark Ludlow - Personal Trainer & Life Coach

After losing 10 stone and completely transforming my physique, I am a personal trainer, life coach and nutritional therapist who assists others in achieving the fantastic results they always wanted. I am based at a health club called Darwin Wellness in Northwood. As well as having a state of the art gym, the club also has private studios which can be used during personal training sessions. There is also a park opposite the club if you would prefer to train outdoors.

The thing I liked most about Mark was his honesty. He told me to cut down the number of sessions with him, and go to a physiotherapist instead. The other thing I like is his ability to think on his feet. I am slightly disabled and it is means that I am not able to do all the exercises that Mark suggests, so it is good to see how quickly Mark stops me if it’s not working, and finds an alternative. He is also very good an breaking down the movement, for example I wanted to be lighter on my feet so for jumping we worked on the takeoff, stretch in the middle of the jump and landing. I am an actor and for a particular part had to carry somebody off stage. So for the last three months I have been doing resistance training and Mark set up a very good program that built up the weight I could lift and the length of time I could carry it for. In short would highly recommend Mark for whatever your fitness needs are.

Mark is a very knowledgeable PT. His food plans helped greatly. Always very helpful with working around my requirements. He showed me proper form and technique and pushed me to the limits. I’ve been training with Mark for about 7 months and so far I’ve lost over 16 kilos. When I first started seeing Mark, I was suffering with hip pain and insomnia, as well as being overweight. Within a month, I was sleeping so much better. Mark tailored the sessions around my ability and goals and helped me with nutrition plans and food advice. I have never felt better. Mark has quite literally helped change my life. I feel better, look better, sleep better and most importantly, I’m healthier. Mark’s personality is what made this possible. He keeps sessions fun, challenging and varied, as well as being a genuinely nice guy. He is amazing to work with.

Mark gets a detailed insight into what you goals are and then tailors a, exercise plan and nutrition plan that you can follow outside of the PT session, which helps lots! Each session is different and varied in terms of the types of exercises you do and Mark explains and shows you how to do each before you do them. Mark is also happy to answer questions via email or text message. I'd recommend Mark as he knows what he is doing and helps towards achieving results!

When I met mark for our opening taster session, I knew he was the right trainer for me. He was personable, kind and committed. Mark really listened to me and catered the entire plan around improving the areas I wanted and to reach the goals I wanted to achieve. He kept the sessions fun and challenging and had a real knack for gaging my ability and providing work outs that were realistic and fitted to my fitness levels. Mark and I bonded quickly and a trust grew between us which I feel is very important. Its important to know that your trainer is focused and committed to you. I would recommend him highly to anyone who's looking to achieve any fitness goals, he's awesome!

Mark is a lovely guy who takes on board all your goals. He works out your training sessions accordingly. I trained with him for 2 months and every training session was different so you don't get bored. I feel a lot Stronger and fitter now and he has also sent me a programme for me to continue on my own in the gym. I won't hesitate to use Mark again in the future.
