About Lamis Al Hasan

Hi I am dedicated individual in the educational field with 6 years of teaching experience in the UK. I am adaptable and flexible enthusiastic and I am committed to teaching. My excellent communication skills in three different languages (English, Arabic, Slovak) gives me the opportunity to work with students from many backgrounds to assist them in their learning and to deliver a high-quality learning activities. I understand the importance of being organised and have plans in place for the students, this includes having schemes of work, lesson plans, individual learning plans to meet student needs and responses and the ability to improvise when necessary. I have a methodical ,efficient and organised approach to work ensuring that anything asked from me is completed to the best of my ability . In my current job and in my previous one I am able to prepare a coherent lesson plans with a clear aim and I always prepare the appropriate resources to ensure that the students reach their goals. I also possess an excellent classroom management skills , I have the ability to promote positive behaviour using different behaviour management strategies keeping calm , being patient , encouraging entertaining and motivating . My work in education extends beyond primary school years, I successfully achieved a UK certificate in adult education, where I gained work experience through my CELTA qualification attainment. I am currently working as a TEFL tutor in an English language school in Harrow on a temporary contract, I plan and deliver lessons to international students , I also design and mark exam papers to monitor students' progress.
