About Katrina Sutcliffe
Hi! About 7 years ago I accidentally fell in love with Yoga. I’ve always been extremely active, juggling everything from ultra-running to surfing, and netball, to rock climbing and whilst yoga began as just ‘another sport’, it quickly became so much more. Our breath is our life force, and in Yoga and Meditation it is the magical rhythm that moves our body and mind. I believe that what we learn on the mat – focus, introspection, opening our heart, awareness, stillness, challenge,– we take with us into the world. My classes are focused on this connection between movement and breath, and encourage my students to be authentic and intuitive in their practice.

Katrina produced 5 bespoke meditation videos which were issued as part of Willis Towers Watson's Mental Health Awareness Week 2020 campaign. Katrina's meditation videos were very well received by our colleagues - they were well-timed given the pandemic - and aligned with our overall themes for the week. Katrina was professional throughout my dealings with her and I would be really keen to work with her again in the future.
Trina was so great at helping me from a total yoga beginner into so one halfway decent! She's really encouraging and patient and a pleasure to be taught by.
I have been receiving lessons from Trina since March and would not hesitate to recommend her as a teacher. Her classes are fun and varied, customised to your ability or comfort. I have also benefited enormously from the generous advice she gives outside of lessons. Her passion for yoga is infectious and I always finish her classes feeling totally refreshed and revitalised.
I have had loads of yoga teachers but I LOVE Trina's classes. They are a treat, she can look at the class and push you to exactly your ability. For beginners this is perfect, and for intermediates it offers more of a challenge in her rocket or dynamic classes. She is really good at a great full routine that feels like it covers all bases and also at small, friendly corrections for things you didn't realise you could improve. I always feel zen after a practice, but also like I've worked out. Perfect.
Trina is a brilliant teacher! I had tried yoga once or twice before but had never really taken to it, then I started doing group yoga sessions with Trina and loved it! She was always cheerful and made the lessons fun and a good workout, but also meditative and calming. As a beginner I didn't know any of the yoga terms but she demonstrated all the movements and made me feel very comfortable practicing. I would definitely recommend Trina as a teacher!
I was a total novice before starting yoga with Katrina. I have had private sessions as well as group sessions and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. Katrina teaches in a calm and professional manner and her instructions are clear and concise. She gives you plenty of teaching points, so that you know exactly how you should be doing each move. Even if you can’t do it straight away, you know what you should be aiming for! My confidence has grown with Katrina’s guidance and I can definitely see I am progressing. She is totally approachable and is always keen to offer help or follow up at any time. I wholeheartedly recommend Katrina’s effectiveness as a yoga teacher. Her happy, positive attitude to life is infectious and you come away from her classes with renewed energy and a smile on your face.
Trina has made yoga very accessible for me. I love going to her classes as she makes them fun, powerful and calming. I would highly recommend joining her on the mat.

I had dabbled in in yoga a little before and started Trina's online yoga classes during lockdown. They were a breath of fresh air and kept me mentally and physically strong during a a very tough period for me. I can't get to as many of Trina's group sessions as I would like to any more as my work situation has changed but Trina has given me the knowledge and confidence to be able to do my own small practice and bring some movement and peace into my life even when I cannot make the full classes. For this I will be forever grateful. Thank you Trina (This is a review for group not private instruction but there wasn't an option for that!)
