About Jose Souto
I am a piano teacher accredited by the Yamaha Music Foundation and the National Conservatory of Music in Caracas, Venezuela. I am based in South West London and since 1990 I have been teaching children, teens and adults. I have cultivated a welcoming and joyful approach to the art of teaching music. I truly believe that everybody has the ability to make music and enrich their lives while training the elements of music: listen, play and read.

Jose has been my daughter Isabella’s piano teacher for the last two school terms. My daughter is a perfectionist and Jose is simply amazing at managing and encouraging her when she is hard on herself. He has passed his love and passion for piano to my daughter in a fun and interactive way. She really looks forward to her Monday lessons with Jose and always finishes with a big smile and a little impromptu recital for me. I would happily recommend Jose to anyone looking for a passionate piano teacher
