Huw is an experienced music tutor with a BA (Hons) in Professional Musicianship from the British and Irish Institute of Modern Music. He has been working as a private tutor for a number of years, as well as in schools teaching primary school children how to work together in rock bands. Huw is now offering an online tutoring service for guitarists of all ages and abilities. Guitar Lessons Huw teaches guitar from beginners to advanced students of all ages. Guitar lessons with Huw include: - Accompaniment - Technique - Repertoire - Musical expression and performance - Guidance for practise - Basic Notation, sight-reading and theory - Song-writing - If desired, preparation for graded examinations Genre Huw is able to teach a wide array of genres, specialising in pop, rock and indie. First Lesson Before the first lesson, Huw will make sure he understands the student’s needs and will provide a rough outline of how the lesson will proceed. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, work on some technical exercises to improve your soloing and anything in between. The most important thing to Huw is that students are progressing at a rate that works for them, and feeling that they’re getting what they want out of their guitar lessons. He personalises lessons with this in mind.
