At Braintree Music Lessons, we are an enthusiastic team dedicated to providing our students with first-class and technically proficient classes that enable them to enhance their skills. Join us to develop your whole musical journey from stepping into lessons for the first time, being a part of student bands, learning production and how to compose your own songs, to presenting to record labels and auditioning for television shows. After being a part of a signed band followed by managing a music venue and managing artists, I relocated to Braintree, Essex and realised the shortage of options for the local community. I set about setting up shop to offer an opportunity to budding musicians and those curious to embrace and explore their love for music. I love nothing better than sharing my passion for music and nurturing new talent. I have a tuition diploma in Popular and Jazz music With over 25 years of teaching students of different ages and at various levels, we are confident that we will help you achieve your goals however big or small they may be. Seeing students perform at our music venue and passing exams or making a recording is the best high for any tutor! We offer inspiration, guidance, and highly creative surroundings at very competitive prices. The journey can be as small or as big as you like and we will encourage you to develop, go beyond your wildest dreams and put you through the right doors. During the lockdown period, we are offering online lessons that are more affordable and convenient. The first session for free, which will give us a chance to get to know each other and chat in more detail about what you would like to accomplish and to check camera angles and the audio before paying for the initial lesson. Singing Lessons
Amy D.'s review on Jun 22, 2020

I would absolutely recommend BML! I started vocal lessons with Marc about 2years ago, with zero confidence. After being taught how to use my vocals properly, confidence started to come through too. A year later, I was able to sing publicly for the first time in over 16yrs. I’ve now recorded 4 cover songs with Marc & I am currently working on recording my own original song. Looking forward to exciting times ahead.

Marc was quick to get back to me and well organised about arranging first classes. Built a great rapport with my two children 9 and 7 who were fully engaged in the class and really excited about the next one. Can’t recommend Marc highly enough

I’ve had bass lessons as well as some vocal coaching with Marc and cannot fault his teaching. Clear, concise with his instruction and will lead you to your full potential. Can not recommend enough.

David S.'s review on Mar 19, 2019

Marc is an exceptional teacher, with a wealth of knowledge to impart. He will tailor the lessons to your personal music interests and is always pushing for quality, regardless of the speed you gain quantity. The one to one lessons are great value for money and he always encourages progress. His love of music is evident and he'll answer any question you may have, irrespective of how silly you may think it.

Guitar Lessons
Darren M.'s review on Jan 07, 2019

Our son has only had 1 lesson so far, but Marc works hard to bring the best out of a student, finding what inspires them, working out what their strengths are & what they need to work on: good balance of structure/flexible and tries best he can to fit in with you.

And evening and weekends I gig in various outfits like the Funk Band Cu'da groove. My main love of music comes from the 70's and especially the 80's, as I grew up in that era, and I am really enjoying singing the funk and disco genre with Cu'da Groove!
