I installed a new motherboard and CPU. however the 8pin connector for the cpu power slot on the mobo is rough and im not sure whether it is connected properly. when connected to the mains supply it does not turn on at all. and the mobo does not receive any power from what i can see. im not quite sure what the problem is since the PSU previously worked with a different mobo and cpu fine.
