I am a professional saxophonist, clarinetist, and flutist with a degree in jazz performance and have played all over the world. I'm currently on a European tour with Hossein Tohi and have experience recording on TV for the BBC. Premiered Cats: The Musical on clarinet/soprano/baritone on the world's largest cruise ship. Have performed in the EFG London Jazz Festival and other venues such as Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex, Pizza Express Dean Street, Charlie Wrights and the 606 club. My teaching is predominantly for saxophone and I also teach clarinet and flute. All ages ranges and skill levels welcome, I have worked with kids as young as six up to adults in their 50's. I have taught in Stoke Newington Music School, was a trusted keyholder and have run many group sessions along with individual workshops and lessons. Through my jazz studies, I have gained a very comprehensive understanding of music theory, harmony, and composition and am fluent in both Sibelius and Ableton Live, all of which can be taught as separate subjects. With regards to lessons, I am willing to travel to you although if desired I have a fully equipped underground studio with two 32" LED monitors, two pairs of professional studio monitors, full PA with stands and pre-amp, mixing desk, interfaces, guitars, basses with all necessary amps, full drum kit, the works! The main advantage is the fact that we can make as much noise as we want without disturbing anyone at almost any time of the day, perfect if you're looking for evenings, don't want to disturb your own neighbours or just want privacy, etc.
