Claire was great. As a novice I felt very comfortable with her instruction and enjoyed the session and although we only did the basics I could feel the effects the next day! Unfortunately I just became to busy with some new work projects to use Claire regularly but I would certainly recommend her.

Love Melanie's Thursday night class. Melanie has created a really friendly community spirit with expert tuition. Classes are full of inspiration and laughter. I have recommended Mel's classes to friends and family some of whom have never done yoga.

I have attended multiple private yoga classes with Paul. Each time, Paul goes over and beyond to create a class that is tailored to my needs. I found that Paul’s classes have not only helped me to improve my practice but his guidance has also helped me to remain centred and focused. If you are looking for a tailored experience that will help you improve your practice and focus in life, I have no hesitation to recommend Paul!!

I have been doing Egyptian Yoga with Sharon for over 1 month now. As a Basu she speaks in a clear calm voice and makes beginners to the advanced feel very welcome in her classes. Everyone is willing to participate from elderly to young and she always at hand to help. Some classes are inside but for me personally the outdoor classes are ideal (weather permitting). Different from the everyday yoga some postures are quite challenging but it's such a BIG accomplishment when yu finally achieve your goal. My 4 and 6 year old will often attend classes with me which is also great that she is 'child friendly' too...

I am a positive, empathic, creative individual with extensive knowledge of yoga, sensitive to people's vulnerability with a good-humoured and flexible approach. I am able to confidently inspire and lead groups whilst remaining sensitive to people’s vulnerabilities and personal goals. I am good at putting people at ease and giving clear, concise instructions, paying attention to the detail of practice and recognising an individual's learning styles. I have over 10 years experience and skills teaching a wide range of clients including private members clubs such as The Hurlingham, The Chelsea Harbour Club, advertising agency Postercope, law firm Freshfields, and various other organisations and institutions. I have also taught and organised a series of workshops in this country and abroad. My passion led me to open my own yoga school (Sep 2001 & Dec 2011) where I managed a team of teachers, we offered various styles of yoga, beginner’s courses, I provided a range of classes for all levels including, prenatal, postnatal yoga, yoga for kids and specialised yoga classes for back pain as well as various one-off workshops My passion for yoga motivates me in taking great pride in being able to deliver the highest quality and level of teaching. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi, I am an Ashtanga vinyasa flow teacher and I completed my YTT200hrs in Goa this January. The pace of my class is mid energetic level, I like to focus on alignment and posture. I start the session with a pranayama breath set to focus the mind and bring the student to the mat. The intensity of the session can be altered to the needs of the class. I use music throughout the set and feel this is a very important part of the class, so I research new sounds that set the mood. I like to use essential oils at the start of the set. This works well as some people are put off by incense. Using oils you can individually apply allows he student who wants aromatherapy to partake without filling the room. I end my session with a Tibetan sound bowel bath to balance the student and clear their energy field. I like to apply these techniques to the yoga set to give an all round experience leaving the client rebalanced and energised. I am also a Reiki master and can hold Reiki healing sessions if this is required, the studio could consider adding this to the services offered. Namaste Pixie

Egyptian yoga is a lifestyle dating back to our ancient ancestors. Known as Smai-Tawi, the postures are nothing new but are powerful in helping us maintain balance on and off the mat by uniting the physical self and the spiritual self, making you be a better version of yourself. All the posture we engage in can be seen today in the pyramids in Egypt, allowing us to understand ourselves better and to promote the betterment of the self. The goal of this yoga is to help others in their journey towards a better self and by using this method, focusing on making the world a better place. Yoga for me is a way of life, not just a hobby. My journey began four years ago at the age of 31 when I became vegetarian. I then started doing yoga and found that I can paint, since then my life has changed and I am thoroughly enjoying this transformation.

I am a fully insured Yoga Teacher in training, registered with the Yoga Alliance to teach 2 classes per week. Yoga has been a part of my life for the last 9 years, starting out with Ashtanga yoga. However, I have also been a student of Bikram, Hatha, Hot yoga, Iyengar and Vinyasa Flow yoga. Having danced from a young age, I enjoy the pace of Vinyasa Flow style classes which emphases the coordination of movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next, however, I typically I love drawing inspiration from teachers and with those that I practice I have always been interested in the relationship between the mind and the body - I feel that yoga has helped me explore this element of dualism even further and with a background in workplace psychology, I can see how regular yoga practice can assist with reducing day-to-day stress, anxiety and tension. I genuinely believe that the practice of yoga should be accessible and available to all regardless of age or strength. With this in mind, I hope that I can support people to become more mindful, let go of limiting self-beliefs and be the best version of themselves through the practice of yoga.
