Working with Yuri has been a life changing experience. He is capable to motivate and get the best out of people. While studying with him I have made tremendous progress which I could never do by myself and he made my work pleasant and achievable. Today, I always look back to his precious teachings and I regularly use his philosophies to get what I need when it comes down to singing. Yuri was my first singing teacher, starting when my voice broke. It was a very challenging time for me, going from a boy soprano to having no falsetto whatsoever, but Yuri helped me to find my tenor voice and taught me the various techniques to find and achieve higher and lower notes, while feeling relaxed and comfortable. The lessons were fun, challenging and engaging, and he was happy to travel to me to work around my schedule. I am now settled in my voice and I'm constantly using Yuri's training and techniques in various professional environments, including theatre and television.
