I chose "Umidich"(oomeedich) as my pseudo name, just because it takes me back to my roots. Creative guy from Uzbekistan. Geographically Uzbekistan is right in the middle of Central Asia or Euro Asia. It is one of the double landlocked territories on our planet "fancy"! This little gem of a place full of great people, traditions, nature and food. If you ever visit, make sure you try it's famous "plof" and "lepyoshka" otherwise consider not being there at all. I wanted something different to what Uzbekistan offered. I liked how open UK was: to thoughts, ideas and opportunities. Oxford, Brighton and finally London were destinations in this venture. Oxford however has a special place in my heart, as i consider it as a "home". I have lived there for almost 10 years and made few family like - friends. London on the other hand (at least for now), is my final choice. What I like about London is diversity, ton of opportunities and how different it is. I have travelled to many cities and every time i return, it is always special to me. I am - i've done it all kinda guy, going from receptionist, events management to a restaurant manager. At some point of my life, I realised that i wanted something different & aligned to my inner-self. I went from one corner to another and finally i decided.....photography & videography! Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. What i like about my choice... well.. for starters i love "capturing moments of life", you will see this phrase quite often here as this is my "motto". I believe every picture or a video has it's own story to tell and a moment to share. Opportunity to travel and getting to know different cultures, taste food and experience lives across continents . List is endless... I’m Umid – a hugely enthusiastic and passionate photographer. Weddings are my “thing” as I genuinely love photographing events full and love, laughter and enjoyment. I’m based in London and cover weddings throughout the UK. I class myself as a ‘documentary style wedding photographer’ as most of my pictures are about capturing your day as it unfolds; so that you see the emotional connections between your family and friends as well as yourselves as a couple. By putting my subject at their ease I create great portraits. I will capture the best version of you and will leave you feeling fabulous. I photograph the people you love the most and who are most precious to you: family, children, loved ones. I capture the special events and important moments in your life. I create memories that last forever. In doing this, I will make you smile and provide you with a fun and uplifting experience.
