Utilising sharp skills, up to date techniques, latest fitness tools and a real big-hearted motivator, personal trainer, and coach. Your goal is my goal! We will work together to achieve your goal in the most efficient way possible! Based in East Dulwich (South East London) is the most passionate personal trainer around. Specialising in helping clients achieve their goals with an array of different training skills. The EDPT goal is to empower the everyday person to push past their comfort zone, towards a strong and healthy lifestyle. Training need not be a chore, it should be fun with focus! It is this priority that makes us strive to make a life-changing experience for every individual at an affordable price. The secret to getting the body of your dreams is simple. Rome was not built in a day. All good things come to those who wait. Patience is a virtue. Perseverance is key. Ever heard these phrases before? Well, they all relate to getting the body of your dreams as well. Getting there will not be a sprint, more likely a marathon. Be under no illusion, it will take hard work and dedication, However, with me, you can rest assured you have the best of the best working by your side. We will get there together. I love helping people. I also have a huge passion for health and fitness and hate to see people get down, depressed especially overweight or other fitness/health related issues. That's why I became a personal trainer. It certainly is not for the money. I truly enjoy helping people. I've had 3 sessions with Carter and Anthony at EDPT so far and it seems to be going well. They push hard and after each session, I've felt like I really pushed myself. They focus on good technique first and foremost so that you are exercising correctly and safely and I look forward to the result moving forward.
I have been working with coach Carter for just over 5 weeks now. I have been doing strength work and conditioning. I have found his methods to be very effective in muscle development and I can definitely feel the difference in my overall health and fitness. First let me say that other than sporadic vists to the gym over some years I had stoppped going at all. I am older and I had lost a lot of my flexibilty and and the sterngth in my arms legs and back had certainly diminished, I decided to get a personal trainer and luckily it turned out to be Carter. We started from scratch in March. Carter tailored the exercises to my abilities and in the 6 months since I have regained huge flexibility -- so much strength in my arms and legs and I do exercises I never thought I could do. I train with EDPT (Carter) every week. Carter is an incredible personal trainer. His sessions are tough, and you are pushed to your limits - but you leave knowing that you have left nothing in the tank and that you are taken one step closer to achieving your goals. Carter’s sessions are incredibly well run, enjoyable, and Carter himself is a fantastic coach to train with who knows how to get the best out of you. He is incredibly knowledgable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
At the time of writing, I've been seeing Coach Carter once a week for just over 3 months and the benefits are measurable. I train at home and use a variety of methods mainly involving kettle bells, a yoga mat and my own body weight. Don't let the simplicity of this set-up fool you - it's full body conditioning! At my first meeting, Carter performed a detailed body and dietary analysis, which - when I got the results - motivated me to change certain aspects of my lifestyle. During this first session we also performed a "light" workout (truth be told, it didn't feel that light to me!) to gauge my current levels of fitness. Over the course of a few weeks Carter got to know my strengths and weaknesses and created a formula that works and is even something I look forward to. Carter himself is fantastic: great personality, quick to understand your needs and limits, and a stickler for perfect technique! Would recommend to my mum and gym dudes and everyone in between.
I've been doing group training and going to Coach Carter's Saturday HIIT class for over six months now and I am totally hooked. He pushes you hard through intense workouts - a mix of strength training and cardio - with a relaxed and encouraging style. He's always finding new challenges so the workouts are never boring or rote, while his focus on form and technique mean you're always working to the best of your ability. Would highly recommend Coach Carter - from someone who has always hated group classes, and never had a personal trainer, my opinion has been transformed - definitely no going back.
I got in contact with Carter during a class at my local boxing gym. I have a personal goal of putting size back on and working on compound exercises. Carter has been friendly, understanding and always caters to my need from the first session onwards! Taken into consideration my many injuries and writes a programme based around what I can do comfortably. He is a PT that has pushed me and in short amount of time developed the weights side of my training. Highly recommended him for the reasons above and he can offer many different training styles as well as great rates!!
