About Tapered Fit

My name is Ross Dymek. I've been in the fitness industry for around 10 years now. I have extensive experience in almost all areas within the fitness industry. These include but are not limited to: Personal Training Group coaching & Bootcamp Nutrition/ Sports Nutrition Strength & Conditioning Weight Loss & Management Athletic Development & Sports Coaching Boxing & Padwork Bodybuilding Toning/ Shaping/ Firming I began coaching around the time I was attending college, where I was studying sport & exercise science. From here I began to gain qualifications while working in various health and fitness centres, eventually leading me to university where I studied strength & conditioning science. It was here that I found my niche as it were! I specialise in making exercise functional to everyday life. I believe that it is important to make exercises functional to movement to allow my clients to not just be able to bench press a heavier bar or run for longer, but to allow them to use their strength outside the gym, such as picking up heavy objects or moving more efficiently with better posture. This reduces risk of injury inside AND outside of training. I believe that training should be geared towards individual goals, taking into account individual differences with regard to the training process. However I also believe that training should have an element of fun to it! I use a different approach toward training with all clients making sure that each training session has some variety, ensuring that training doesn't become monotonous. Using a different approach with everyone also ensures that my coaching style becomes adaptable and meets the needs of each individual person being trained - some require the shouty motivational coach whereas others may prefer the more relaxed and calm approach. I have trained people from all walks of life, with different backgrounds, injuries and barriers with regard to fitness and I am willing to take on anyone regardless of the issue. My goal is to lose 30kg in 1 year time. Ross provided me with excellent and simple diet plan, which simply works. Just in less than 5 weeks, I was able to lose 10kg and almost 9 cm in the waist. Weekly communication and ability to ask questions is really useful. Each week Ross goes through my meal diary and gives me feedback on my food choices and suggestions on how I can improve. Also, the fact that Ross is expecting a weekly progress report is really motivating to stick to my diet plan

I highly recommend Tapered Fit for anyone who seeks training regularly and has a set of goals to achieve. Ross is a decent, professional and punctual trainer. I had training with Ross for almost 10 months now, and I got great results. He recommended a dietary regimen along with the type of exercises suitable for my health condition. His sessions are both challenging and fun to do. We worked on upper body as well as lower body exercises and moved from low impact to high intensity gradually. Ross is a truly amazing trainer. I went to him because I wanted to tone up and lose weight. And after few sessions with him I was able to see the results which I thought I will never be able to achieve. Ross knows how to motivate me and also how to challenge me. With our exercise programme, Ross know exactly how to encourage me, push me, entertain me, distract me. He helped me understand the importance of correct form – once you’ve got this right, it never leaves you. My programme was devised to allow me to progress to more and more developed exercises and I am amazed now at what I can lift, push or press! Ross was always positive and cheerful, and gave me confidence. He knows me, and when I couldn’t manage something, would provide a variation that allowed me to build up to the full exercise. And yes, I did see results, and so did my friends – within a year I had visibly more weight, gained definition was eating more healthy, feeling more energetic and looked better. I have been working with Ross for almost a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with the results and experience. Ross is extremely encouraging and pushes me to achieve the goals we have set. The workouts are always different and I look forward to each session. Ross is very personable and a well rounded person and trainer. I would definitely recommend Ross; he is the best trainer around!

Ross is a fantastic trainer. I have been training with him for about 2 months now and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. He is very professional, makes sessions tailored to your abilities and always pushes you to the limits. His sessions are always thoroughly planned, diversified and never boring. Ross is patient, motivating and always fun to work with. His nutritional advice is also extremely helpful and professional.
