(verified quote required) Here at Liliana Fae Events we understand the stress and strain wedding planning can cause and we just want to help you to enjoy the planning of your wedding day. Any discount that we can negotiate with suppliers goes directly to you, our fee remains the same. Our packages are so flexible that we can tailor to you. Packages and prices shown on the website are simply examples and your wedding planning requirements will be put into an affordable bracket for you. We listen to your ideas - and we implement them for you within the most appropriate and affordable price bracket. We are also lucky to be able to travel to selected other parts of the country also without additional cost to yourselves. We have worked with a variety of schemes and styles of wedding days, and have never received any concerns or complaints about the service we have provided. We work closely with a large range of local suppliers, and while these are not exclusive do have experience of working with the best and most capable suppliers and so can advise accordingly. This is because we also run a couple of local wedding fairs, and with this are able to check portfolios, insurance documents and qualifications/ experience. Our most special skill is really listening to what you envision and helping you to implement them according to budget and style. Alongside Sophia, our wedding coordinator, our small team is made up of trusted, professional and capable people to help with welcome drinks, canapes, waiting and serving, etc if your event requires them. We really hope to be able to work alongside you to ensure that you can ''take a minute to breathe and live in the moment'' during your wedding experience.

What should customers know about your pricing? (E.g. estimates, discounts, fees, package pricing)
Prices are generally in maximum cost brackets that are tailored to your specific requirement and budget. Some services cost more such as additional staff, extra hours and these can be ordered by request. Quotes provided include VAT and will detail your specific requirements. Prices are agreed during your initial consultation. A consultation fee of £45 is required in advance of the consultation, this will provisionally hold your date and this is then credited to your invoice as part payment once a booking is made from the consultation. The consultation fee is entirely non - refundable unless cancelled within 24 hours of the payment. The fee must be paid within 48 hours of booking your consultation. All discounts negotiated via suppliers will go directly to yourselves and this can be proven via the invoices provided to you. Supplier are contracted by yourself and not Liliana Fae Events so as to ensure that any qualifying supplier discounts can be provided to yourselves directly. Deposit of 25% is required on booking your wedding date following the consultation. The final amount payable 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.
What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?
Initially we can have a brief discussion via email (preferred for planning reference) or telephone that could answer some questions for both. A consultation in person can then be arranged to go through further details and agree on the package that suits your style, type of services required and budget. A general booking contract will then be read, understood and signed on the day, and a more detailed contract regarding specific services will be sent to you within 24 hours detailing the exact costs as agreed.
What education or training is most relevant to your work?
I have 2 diplomas in wedding planning and regularly complete online training in Health and safety, event planning and budgeting to ensure that I can adhere to best practise. I have also training and insurance in the application of cosmetic makeup, this includes all cosmetics and therefore can provide emergency makeup application of the bridal party's own products as a back up if needed. I can also provide a mini cosmetic glitter bar for a part of your evening celebrations.
Do you have tips or advice for someone hiring a pro in your line of work?
When hiring a wedding planner you should think about how intent they are at listening to your requirements. You should be aware of their budget allocation ideas and ensure that the budget is used effectively on the parts that are most important to you as a couple. Wedding Planners should be able to tailor your requirements to their fees and provide the best service appropriate and suited to your budget.
What questions should customer have ready before speaking to pros about their project?
1. Are your fees negotiable? 2. When are you available in the immediate run up to the day and can you be available for last minute additional assistance? 3. Ask questions specific to your event - if you have a specific (different) theme ask if your planner knows about the subject 4. If you are marrying with cultural or religious aspects that you feel is important to the wedding - do communicate these early and find out the planners knowledge with regard to your traditions. For example, one speciality of Liliana Fae Events is experience with Handfastings and civil ceremonies.
What are some good examples of past customers?
From DIY weddings, coordinating with venues and suppliers, to helping with wedding guests transportation and accommodation arrangements. I am versatile and can be stretched in many directions effectively. My previous clients have all had a range of ideas and plans and I adapt well to the expectations of my clients professionally, creatively and with integrity. I also have experience in various aspects.. Festivals, fundraisers, children's activities, Youth projects, day trips and other celebrations.
Describe a recent project that went well. Scope? How long did it take?
One couple last year had a DIY red and black, slight Gothic theme with a limited budget, and they were concerned about it being too dark - yet with some creative tweaks and ideas we managed to create an atmosphere that guests were happy in, that looked well put together and in keeping with the personality of the couple, not to mention the budget provided. Set up was the night prior to the wedding and so, on the morning of the wedding I was able to assist with the Bride's final preparations with dress, hair, and makeup. This event truly showed the versatility of my skills and services. I also manage local wedding fairs that take a lot of planning and coordinating. These projects have to date been successful, well laid out, welcoming and specific to our local talented suppliers. Budgets of small businesses can be extremely fragile and I work well with the suppliers to ensure that their service is affordable and suitable for them. This person-centred approach works perfectly within that setting and also within wedding and event planning.
How did you first get into this line of work?
Like a few wedding planners - planning your own or helping out with others weddings or events sparks an interest and like myself act on those skills and love of organisation, project management and client satisfaction. I was married to my childhood sweetheart in 2014, and during the planning I found a few stressful situations that were out of our control including needing to bring the wedding forward by 3 months. This had a significant impact on our hopes and desires for our wedding day but the dedication and quick thinking we did meant our day was truly amazing. In hindsight, the venue's coordinator wasn't suited to us, and the only thing I would have changed would have been to have an independent wedding coordinator who understood us, and only had our best interests at heart.
