SiteSolved was incorporated in 2015 when we (Dwain and Angela) were made redundant from our long-term positions in the waste industry. We took our extensive knowledge of waste and branched out on our own launching a reactive site clearance company, with an emphasis on customer service and compliance.

We hired sitesolved to empty a shop unit for us. The quote was very reasonable. The team arrived in time and were very efficient in the clear out. They explained any additional costs such as getting rid of a few printers and a fridge but organised it all for us. Great service, would definitely recommend and use again.

Have used them twice .Once for removal of garden waste and recently for removal of a front porch ,glass ,brickwork, rubble and soil.Both times work carried out to high standard .Price as agreed. What should customers know about your pricing? (E.g. estimates, discounts, fees, package pricing)

We have a flexible pricing structure that is calculated by the cubic which means our customers only pay for what what we take away.

What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?

We try to gather as much information to enable us to price fairly for both parties

What education or training is most relevant to your work?

The directors have been involved in the waste industry for over 18 years which enable to guarantee quality and compliance at times.

Do you have tips or advice for someone hiring a pro in your line of work?

Always make sure they have a waste carriers licence, are insured, give you a copy of the waste transfer ticket (with their information, where they are taking the waste and their vehicle registration number). Check reviews. Give photos of the waste and as much information about how much is there, where it is, what the access is, are there restrictions etc such as in a flat, no parking etc. The more information, the better.

What questions should customers have ready before speaking to pros about their project?

Do you have a waste carriers licence and where will the waste go? Is the waste recycled? What do you estimate the cost and time will be? Do I need to do anything to help? Should the waste be in one place or will it matter if it is on several floors or areas?

What are some good examples of past customers?

The best customers ask the right questions and give us as much information as possible so that we can price it fairly for them (Some even make us a cup of tea!)

Describe a recent project that went well. Scope? How long did it take?

Recently cleared a house and garage following the death of an elderly gentleman. We made sure to communicate with the family at all times to ensure that we were as respectful and fair as possible. Amongst the items, we found a few things that we thought they may have overlooked and once we showed them, they were overwhelmed as they were of some value, both sentimental and monetary. It was wonderful to see them smile at such a hard time.

Have worked in the industry for many years and decided to use knowledge to set up my own business.
