About Shahid Chohan Photography
Hello and thank you for visiting my profile showcasing my photography. The imagery and love here is mostly dedicated to weddings, portraits and my work for NUBI magazine where I am Director of Photography. For me, capturing your wedding in a creative and relaxed, artistic manner is truly beyond an honour – it’s a privilege! I search for moments that are fleeting: it could be a look, a touch, an embrace. The light falling magically on a scene, a momentary glance: the bride catches the eye of the groom. Each wedding is different and I approach you with this in mind; tailoring the capture of your day to your requirements and personal taste. Using a combination of natural and posed photography. I document your love, your story, your day. My skill as a photographer has been developed over the course of 25 years and has been nurtured by many great photography artists, poets, and filmmakers; each influencing my work and contributing to my rich, emotive and deeply vibrant style. I find harmonies where the moment, light, colour and composition come together creating unique treasured memories. Wherever you are in the UK or abroad, if fantastic bespoke photography is important to you, I would greatly love to hear from you. I provide my clients with an exceptional service and use the finest albums, storybooks, and frames which can be enjoyed for generations to come. My lifestyle also reflects my creative interests. I enjoy travelling abroad to experience new places and cultures which also inspire my work. My partner and I often go walking in the UK countryside and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. She and I chose to live life naturally, organically and ethically especially when it comes to food and the purchases we make. We like to spend time in independent cafès and restaurants eating wholesome food in relaxing surroundings.

Shahid is a fantastic photographer who we hired to cover our Hindu engagement ceremony. He was extremely professional and showed great attention to detail which showed in the quality of his work. I hired Shahid for my sons evening wedding reception. He was punctual and enthusiastically took a wide range of photos of the happy couple and guests until the reception was finished late into the evining. Photo album was well presented I would definitely recommend.

Shahid and his assistant Dave were fantastic on our big day and took some beautiful pictures. The photo album took a little time to arrive but it was worth the wait as it is beautiful and wonderfully arranged. Excellent photographer, good direction of subjects. I can recommend Shanid's work. I have just collected 200 shots he took for my wedding and I cannot fault one them. I will be using him again for other events. Top notch.
