I came to London with a goal of getting fit, losing weight, and gaining muscle. Rob created a personalized training program for me that transformed my body over three months, during which time I lost 10 kg and gained a lot of muscle mass. We met for hourly training sessions three times a week. During our sessions, he showed me how to perform the exercises, corrected my form, explained the benefits of the different exercises, mentored me on how to eat properly for weight loss and muscle gain, and supported and encouraged me to push myself to reach new limits. He has an ability to understand your body's limits, so he always knew when to push me further or to tell me to take a break and relax. He is always mindful of ensuring that you never hurt yourself, so I trusted him completely when performing new exercises. Moreover, once my body started changing, he amended our workouts so my body would focus on gaining muscle instead of losing weight. Most importantly, he is personable, respectful, reliable, knowledgeable, LGBT friendly, and very talented. He is a fabulous PT!

Rob has been my private boxing trainer for the last month, I absolutely love the training sessions with him. Rob is professional, experienced and makes every training session a great workout and fun experience! Previously I wasn’t a big fan of working out but I really look forward to my boxing sessions with Rob, he keeps me on my toes. I feel lucky to have found him and would highly recommend Rob as your personal trainer.
Rob is a great trainer and fully committed to getting results. On my first lesson he asked me what music I liked and made me a Mariah Carey playlist for our boxing sessions. He is very open and easy to talk to and I am delighted with my results so far 😀
That was my first boxing session and I loved it! Robert made me feel welcome and comfortable especially that I carry quiet a few injuries! I have to say boxing is a complex sport, but Robert explained all the necessary techniques just enough for the first taste of boxing and so I could have fun and good time and not to loose myself too much in technique. But by saying that he made sure I was safe while punching. Aweseome first session! I would highly recommend Robert and I am looking forward to my next session! Ps. It is an amazing workout and the next day I felt the smallest muscles that I have never felt before!
16 hours after posting here I was in the gym training with Rob. Rob is positive, calm, tactful, took all my requirements onboard very well and baked them into the sessions nicely. He is pushing just enough making the sessions very enjoyable, focused and motivating as well as ensuring progress. Time flies every time, I simply wake up at the end and can't wait for the next one. I was completely new to gyms and boxing, he made the intro seamless building up my confidence in what we're working on from day 1. Love working with him and foresee a long collaboration.
I have been training with Robert on and off for 2 years now doing both personal training and boxing sessions. His sessions are very motivational making exercise fun as well as making me work hard! He is very knowledgable, keeping me informed about my form and telling me what muscle groups I am working. He also gives me good advise when I do individual workouts too. Talking to Rob about healthy lifestyle, fitness and nutrition has inspired me to start a personal training course myself! Rob is always reliable, communicates well and flexible with my lifestyle. Training with Robert Blackwell was very motivating he made me push my limits and helped me to never give up. He was easy to talk to about deit and exercise. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends as a great trainer.
Rob is a good Personal Trainer and a extremely good friend too . He is understanding and knows your needs . He can help anyone and everyone and of any age too . I have mental health difficulties and he has helped me become more open and helped me develop my confidence and showed me my abilities. He has also helped me build up my strength . He will keep you going and going which is really good . You will feel refreshed after his workout which is a extremely good thing . I totally recommend you to him . He is also very affordable unlike other pt's . Overall He is the best PT I could have and very good hearted in nature and you will enjoy your workout with him to the fullest.
I’ve started on with rob at the beginning of January 2019 as I needed help to lose some extra weight and I couldn’t be at the gym by myself as I had a curved back problem and a twisted knee problem too which makes it very hard for me to workout without a help, not to mention that I had a severe anxiety with being in the gym by myself. Rob has worked very hard with me to make me break out of my anxiety and to get my back and knee progressing , I’m very closed and hard to communicate with but rob had an understanding from the beginning and he was very patient and helpful, I wouldn’t recommend anybody better to be honest
