About Robbie Pinder Personal Training
Personal Training sessions will provide you with a specified approach to your exercise routine, tailored to your individual capabilities. I like to design highly efficient routines, rather than strict regimes, to deliver clients significant, long-term results. If you’re just getting into training, I like to start with basic compound movements, flexibility work, and slow and steady cardio to build up a strong foundation, and ensure you’re using your body properly. The goal is to give you the basic principles of training, so you can learn how to train yourself. If you’ve been missing the gym since lockdown, I like to use this time to focus on more specific aspects of physical fitness, such as core stability, joint mobility, interval training, plyometric movements and ballistic work. The goal is to make the most of this time, and to give you that head start on your training when the gyms reopen. Train with me to become a stronger version of yourself!

Just got done with my 1st pt session. Robbie was great, we started light warm up discussing health issues I had and technics we were going to use to help. He talked me through ever step and pushed me As far as I could go as that’s what I asked him to do. I must say I enjoyed it and looking forward to next session.
Robbie is a very knowledgable PT. He sets out a good plan which is challenging but achievable, foussing on good form and posture. Would recommend him if you are looking for a PT.

Robbie designed a tailored exercise plan for me based on my goals and current schedule. He took the time to explain why he chose each exercise, how to perform it safely and it's overall benefit. I appreciate Robbie's patience and genuine passion for sport and fitness that reflects in his approach towards personal training. I was nervous about training while someone is watching me, however, that went away almost instantly as Robbie is truly there to help you, make you comfortable, help you understand how your body works and offer support and guidance in achieving your fitness goals. Robbie is the best PT I've ever worked with. Robbie takes time to understand your goals and what your week looks like and then tailors a programme to you. In every exercise, he explains exactly what muscles we're looking to use and why which is incredibly helpful. He is very aware of safety regarding the correct postures to prevent injury and listens and reacts when you have a niggle or something doesn't feel right. He is full of encouragement and his relaxed style resulted in me pushing myself more than normal. I couldn't recommend Robbie more.
Asked Robbie if he could help put together a home workout routine, to improve core strength and general fitness improvement. Robbie had put together a clear and effective 5 day workout plan. He said if there wasnt anything i enjoyed doing on the plan, to come to him and he'll give a couple other options to try instead.
My previous experience with personal trainers has left me feeling cynical about their effectiveness. Having being recommended Robbie by a friend from uni, I took up a training plan he implemented and was surprised by how quickly I noticed results. His clear communication helped me overcome hurdles on the most useful exercises for my ‘problem areas’ (my words not his!) and the structure of the training slotted well with my daily routine. I would (and have already) recommend his services to anyone looking for a bit more structure and support in their training regimes.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Robert's sessions. I was unsure about getting a PT as my friends suggested that all you get with PTs is motivation to exercise. This was far from the case. Robert has an excellent understanding of anatomy and how to personalise workout routines to suit the specific client. I mentioned that part of my problem when working out was fatigue and so we established that the way I was structuring my workout was counterproductive, and that I needed to be taking more rest to allow the muscle to repair. Though we began these sessions in person before the lock down, we've been continuing weekly sessions over Skype and remarkably I still feel I'm able to get as much out of the work. I simply wouldn't have got to where I am now in strengthening my body and mind if it wasn't for having these sessions, and there's still lots more work for us to do! Whatever your workout goals are, trust me Robert can get you there. Can't recommend enough.
