About Rangi Fitness

Life can creep up on you, filling your day with so many requirements that you are unable to make time for yourself. When we get stressed, one of the first things to go is physical fitness and nutritional health. Overtime, we can accidentally gain weight and lose physical strength, which contributes to our personal ability at work, home, and with friends and family. I provide you with a tailored training programme designed to do 3 things: - Improve your mobility - Weight loss - Strengthen your body I know how hard it can be to be overweight – I was once, too. It’s the biggest mental challenge to overcome it, and I’m here to show you how. Rangi has given me lots of encouragement with his fun sense of humour, but more importantly he has helped me mentally stick with training and learn how to do the exercises properly for maximum benefit. I absolutely love weight training now and am enjoying the the journey to being a healthier, stronger me.

Rangi is amazing. I was not confident of going to the gym before but he taught me how to work out effectively and is great to talk to as well. He pushes you to reach your goals and helps with diet stuff too which is really helpful. I can’t recommend Rangi, thanks for everything man!

I approached Rangi about his Olympic lifting class and the possibility of teaching me the lifts, he was very welcoming and more than happy to have me along. The classes have a max of 3 people which means that each person can get the attention needed to ensure the correct form is used with each lift. Rangi is very patient and motivating as well as keeping the class fun, which helped massively boost my confidence in the lifts. On top of that he has helped beyond just the class, giving me additional advice on things to do outside of the class to help improve my lifts, and flexibility/mobility advice to help improve my positioning throughout the lift. I couldn't recommend Rangi highly enough and have enjoyed every minute of the Olympic lifting classes.

Rangi has coached me for 6 months and the progression I've seen in technique and strength is amazing. He manages to strike a great balance with sessions that are both challenging and fun - perhaps due to his friendly personality. Lastly the best thing is seeing the genuine sense of joy in his face when you hit a new personal best!

Rangi is a fantastic personal trainer; I have gotten so much out of our sessions and I've found him to be very encouraging and motivating. He immediately showed me how to improve my form, even on exercises I'd been doing for years so that I could get the most out of the time I spend exercising. He helped me to gradually progress to more complex variants of exercises adding more weight and resistance bands; and beginning to introduce strength training for calisthenics into my workouts to help me reach my goal to hold a planche and do handstand pushups. I've had noticeable improvements in my physique and energy levels since I started training with Rangi.

I came to Rangi, having very limited knowledge of using the Gym and many of the different exercises that I could do. I wanted to build muscle get more confident in the Gym and lose weight. He took the time to help me with nutritional options as well as a plan for my training. He was a great teacher and drove home the importance of form and technique. He was very patient and tried new ways for me to understand and to get to grips with the different lifts exercises as well as pushing me to reach my goals. I would recommend Rangi to all trainees of different levels.
