I'm confident we can meet your needs whether a beginner or an advanced player, young or old, we will match you with the right teacher for you. All teachers are graduates of the the UK's and some of the world's top music conservatories and work professionally in some of the top orchestras and bands in Europe. As well as having essential teaching and performing experience, we teach with an enthusiasm and passion rarely found in other music schools/academies. The areas we teach in are Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, the Scottish and English Borders, Perth and Dundee.

Pat has taught 2 of my children over the last 6 years. Cornet, trombone and trumpet.. Both have excelled, both gaining music places at great schools and both have had a true love of music instilled in them by Pat. Lessons have been interesting and fun and Pat keeps that perfect balance of fair pressure but kindness when teaching so the kids have always wanted to do well and enjoyed their lessons immensely. Its all down to Pat that one is now touring with an orchestra aged 13 and the other makes more money from busking than I do from my job! Brilliant teacher and inspiring teacher.

Pat is a class act! Fantastic player and amazing teacher. He really has a great balance between being really enjoyable and encouraging and tough in a good positive way so you can really improve! Knocks out your bad habits and gets you into good ones. He’s a great guy too!
