About O'Neill Performance

During the previous 15 years, as a coach and athlete, I have cultivated a wealth of experience across multiple countries, working with professional athletes (China, USA, UK, and Australia), coaching corporate clientele and educating/mentoring coaches in the fitness industry. My passion lies in client wellness in particular people that are 'overweight & overwhelmed &/OR the burnout corporate worker'. My work focuses on using functional nutrition practises & stress reduction techniques to help clients finally get the results they are after.

- Online Training & Nutritional Programming - Personal Training (1 to 1 + skype sessions) Online Training program includes: - Consultation at the beginning of each training phase - Custom designed Strength + Conditioning program + recovery sessions - Sleep + Stress management protocols - Supplement plan - Regular check-ins Online training programs are bespoke designed plans created only after undertaking a thorough lifestyle assessment. This allows me to gain a more comprehensive overview of how we can regularly adjust training/lifestyle changes to maximize results.
What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?
Each client must fill in a 'Lifestyle questionnaire' in order to gain a comprehensive overview of all training/nutrition + lifestyle factors that may be causing roadblocks to success. This allows me to optimally plan forward and create a personalised program that works for each client .

How much support, guidance, and communication is there during a program? How do we best set, measure goals?
What are some good examples of past customers?
2 specific examples that give me much joy to remember: - a female client was suffering from PCOS, sleep issues, was overweight and had not had a period in 10months. With a clear & concise focus on building health whilst still being able to train we had tremendous success and all her health markers including sleep returned to normal. - Another one of my corporate female clients, found herself continually exhausted and would struggle to stay awake at work, this would be perpetuated by the inability to sleep at night. This required us to rebuild health, teach the body to balance out its internal signals with a balanced diet, smart supplements, sleep & stress reduction techniques, proper hydration and smart controlled exercise program
How did you first get into this line of work?
As an aspiring athlete and someone who struggled with allergies and my own health from a young age I was constantly reading and learning to try and find the best way to stay healthy and continue playing sport. This lead to a decision to study Exercise Science and nutriton and further intern with some of the top coaches around the world (Australia, USA, Germany, China, UK).
