About Simply Balance Yoga

The most exceptional thing about yoga is that anyone can do it to improve their overall wellbeing. Whether you are young or old, unfit or an athlete, stressed or serene, yoga is for everyone. And if you need a qualified expert to show you the way, let me be the one to take you on a journey that aligns your body, mind, and soul. My name is Natasha, and I am a certified Hatha yoga teacher, Yoga Life Coach, and a member of Yoga Alliance Professionals. I began my teacher training in January 2020 for six months studying with Sweat Studios, where I learned the fundamentals, stretched my skills and expanded my knowledge and understanding of yoga’s many significant benefits. My sessions involve a 60-minute Hatha that works through cardiovascular postures, stretching the fascia connective tissue to encourage relaxation. In the end, we introduce supportive passive restorative postures to relieve the body out of the fight or flight response enabling lower cortisol levels. Because of the changing postures, Hatha yoga is ideal to tone and energise the body, and it also promotes healing in painful areas. The positive effects go beyond the physical – yoga can also shift your mindset and helps you cultivate calmness. It is a perfect way to either start your day or wind down after a long one. I teach classes in my local community centre, but if the times are not convenient for you, why not come and join me for zoom sessions online? I take pride in my ability to understand the unique needs of every student while ensuring they gain maximum benefit from each session. I've thoroughly enjoyed my yoga classes with Natasha. Not only are they great for the body but also very relaxing for the mind. The meditation and setting intentions at the beginning of class is a lovely touch. Natasha is always happy to tailor classes for her students needs, which make the sessions more personal and helpful in tackling any challenges or areas we'd like to work on. She has a lovely, gentle energy that is very welcoming and makes the sessions enjoyable.
