About Mrs. Elisa Tully

I am a native Spanish teacher who graduated from the Cervantes Institute(GCSLTA). I also hold a degree as DELE examiner A1/2 to adults, and DELE A1 to children. I love studying languages so, as a former student, I know what I would expect from a language tutor, passion for the language, commitment, and most importantly, attending to the student's needs. I know I can carry it out and some of my private students have mentioned my strengths, among which, students motivation is a priority to lead them to their target language. I like using videos, flash cards, CDs, and lots of text book references, among them Aula Internacional, Gente Hoy, Bitácora, and for children Uno, Dos Tres, Ya, Vamos al Cole, Sisisi, Mi Entorno, which I consider can deliver the basic tools for children to take their first steps into the Spanish language. I can also teach Spanish for special purposes, such as medical, as I am also a Biochemist with a postgraduate in Toxicology from the University of Buenos Aires. As a Biochemist, and with a postgraduate in Toxicology, I worked at a pediatric hospital for nearly 23 years in the city of Buenos Aires, where my tasks were focused on hematological diseases. As a forensic scientist, I also worked in the forensic laboratory, judicial morgue, judiciary system, in the city of Buenos Aires, for 23 years.
