About Michele Strocchi

I originate from Italy and lived in USA, UK and South America. I graduated from the London Centre of Contemporary Music (L.C.C.M.) studying with teachers Pete Zeldmann (Steve Vai), Mark Mondesir (Joe Zawinul) and Keith LeBlanc (Tina Turner, Annie Lennox) among others. I also studied in New York with Jojo Mayer (Dizzy Gillespie, Nerve) and in Italy under the guidance of Maestro Claudio Saveriano. I really enjoy teaching as well as performing live. I have teaching experience with very young pupils as well as adults and have also been involved in numerous music projects involving children with special needs. I have taught in primary schools and private music schools where I had to face different kinds of students with different challenges and demands. I understand the importance of finding different ways of teaching for different goals depending on the needs and desires of students. I also have a qualification as a Mental Health music teacher. Founder and leader of the band L.P.M. composed of 15 people with various difficulties. As well as teaching, I am an experienced performer having played professionally for the last 18 years in Europe and United States recording sessons and playing live with various artists such as Dottor Livingstone, Dedalus, Ginger Brew (Phil Collins, Mariah Carey), Arthur Miles, Linsey Alexander (Buddy Guy), Randolph Matthews (Grace Jones, Angelique Kidjio) among others. You will find me to be passionate about all types of music while having a limitless enthusiasm for teaching. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
