KEITH A.'s review on Apr 20, 2020

Mr Wood gave a value for money quote for replacing our cooker hob, he was punctual on attending and professional in his attitude , communicating clearly what to expect, he delivered first class work and was an exceptionally tidy worker, taking away the old hob and packaging.

Drew I.'s review on Apr 20, 2020

Michael came to our flat to investigate an issue with tripping circuits in the kitchen one weekend. He was able to identify the issue and got us back up and running. We knew our fuse board was old and needed replacing. Some weeks later he came back and changed that over for us.A really nice guy and we was happy with the price and quality of his workmanship.

Questions & answers

What should customers know about your pricing? (E.g. estimates, discounts, fees, package pricing)
When putting a job on for quote. Please give as much information as you can as this will help get the quote that suits the work load required. Sometimes this is difficult so we could get you to send over photos and try and work it out over the phone.
What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?
As above as much information as possible. Try and agree a price both parties are happy with.
What education or training is most relevant to your work?
We are an NICEIC Approved Electrical contractor so we are strictly tested every year to make sure we understand and keep up to date with the latest regulations set by BS7671 18TH electrical wiring regulations.
Do you have tips or advice for someone hiring a pro in your line of work?
If the engineer whom visits your home does not want to comply with these regulations you risk the work you have done in your home not being certified correctly and not safe or insured so be careful!
What questions should customers have ready before speaking to pros about their project?
Are they certified Will they issue a certificate for any alterations done for a electrical circuit. Are they fully insured
What are some good examples of past customers?
My background is working in shops ,restaurants and Jewellers but as we are in lock down I am offering my services to all domestic clients as well as in times of need all hands on deck really helps.
Describe a recent project that went well. Scope? How long did it take?
Working on a LED lighting upgrade project at Garrard and Co Jewellers in Albermarle street W1 London. Took a few months but the final results was really good and the energy cost savings and helping out the environment really made a difference.
How did you first get into this line of work?
I left school at 16 and did a full JIB NVQ3 electrical apprenticeship. Came out of my time at 21 and have been working for myself every since. It the best thing I ever did as everybody always needs a good plumber or electrician.
