About Maxime Morise

I am a violin teacher based in Notting Hill, recently graduated from the Royal College of Music. 👨‍🎓Awarded 1st Class Master of Music degree from the Royal College of Music alongside my pedagogical title! 🏋🏽‍♀️Teaching experience of 6 years 👉DBS Checked ✍️Experience in preparation for ABRSM exams 👨‍👦Works with all sorts of levels and ages! 🎼music theory included 💻 Due to a current situation I am running BOTH online classes on Zoom/Skype and at my place W11 (with safety measurements) 💷 50£/h 🇫🇷/🇬🇧 Since moving to London in 2014 I have been consistently teaching students of all ages (6- 44 years old) and of all levels (grades 1-7). Recently one of my students was accepted at the « CNR de Versailles », a highly regarded and competitive conservatoire and the equivalent of the RCM’s Junior Department in France. As a performer of chamber music I have been invited to play in a wide variety of chamber music festivals such as Musethica, the ‘Estivales of Puisaye’ and Encuentro de Santander. I perform regularly in piano quartets, piano trios, string quartets as well as in more unconventional ensemble settings (trio with saxophone, septet with harp etc..). I believe my experience as a chamber musician and violin teacher, together with my research on practise and the way ideas are discussed in music with ‘How do you practise’, are making me a creative, flexible and high-standard Violin teacher. I cannot wait to start working with you and bring you on the path of creative practice.

I teach children and adults and I have had a full violin teaching position at Watford School of Music in 2012-13 and also at Pro Corda School of Music. As a student, I know the level of commitment and passion involved and try to inspire my students to expand their skills in a fun way. Though I have
