About Maria Ward
I am a passionate French and Spanish tutor, I've been tutoring for over a year. I have experience teaching both primary and high school levels, I always try to adapt my classes to the needs of the learner, focusing on the areas that they need help with as well as reinforcing areas they are stronger in. I find that it also helps to constantly challenge learners to go out of their comfort zone and I try to bring an element of that to my teaching. I also believe that actively learning about the culture surrounding the language is just as important as learning the language itself.
