Lauren Lucille Music

I've been having singing lessons with Lauren for about 9 months now and she is a fantastic teacher. Having started with no singing ability at all she has brought out stuff from me I never thought possible. She explains things very well, has unlimited patience with me and every lesson I come out feeling I'm a better singer. A lot of the time we are working on technique/exercises then we work on a song in the later half of the lesson, and this is the sort of thing you need to do if you want to significantly improve. So yes, if you are looking to learn how to sing and get really good at it, or even if you can sing already and are looking for more expert advice, I highly recommend Lauren. She's great!

I've been singing in an amateur rock band for years but have been working with Lauren for the last nine months or so. I thought I was pretty good - but she has helped me improve really significantly - and recognise I still have a long way to go. The feedback from band members and friends has been hugely positive. Lauren is extremely professional, combining a disciplined approach with a bit of fun along the way. She clearly has a lot of technical knowledge and access to a wide range of techniques which are always tailored for what I need. Thoroughly recommend.

I received singing lessons with Lauren as a Christmas present in 2016. I was a bad amateur singer and was very nervous at my first lesson, but Lauren soon calmed me. It was all very strange as she went through the process of teaching my vocal and other muscles what they should do, and it has been an interesting learning experience under Lauren's expert guidance . Now, just 9 months on, whilst I am no Pavarotti or Whitney (yet!) I feel much more confident singing in public. Lauren clearly knows her stuff and she gets results in a friendly and encouraging environment. I would recommend her not only to beginners such as myself, but also good singers who want to perfect their techniques.

Lauren is by far the most thorough and knowledgeable singing teacher I have ever had the pleasure of being taught by. An excellent and inspiring tutor, she will give you the tools you need to develop your vocal abilities, no matter what level you are, complete beginner through to advanced/professional. Having gone through vocal injury herself, Lauren is in a position to identify any potentially bad habits and put in place exercises to prevent those and to strengthen and free up the voice, so as to achieve best results. Friends have commented on how my voice has made progress and I now sing with two gigging bands.

Lauren is very friendly and personable with decades of singing experience as she comes from a highly prestigious musical family. Her knowledge of singing technique is excellent and she really listens to the student; helping develop and work on their specific areas of weakness.

Lauren is a most amazing teacher, she is so encouraging and motivating. After struggling with singing for years, she showed me the proper techniques and finally yot me on my way. Having been told all my life that I should just stick to playing guitar, it was hard for me to loosen up and get out of myself. A lesson with Lauren is the most informal and and fun environment to learn singing. When you are sitting down with her, it feels more like talking to a friend than to a teacher. She is very encouraging and motivating and her lessons are pure fun. We have so many laughs during our lessons... I'd highly recommended her to anybody who wants to get into singing.
