I don't know where to begin! When I first spoke to her on the phone, I thought she was so easy to talk to, super enthusiastic and knew EXACTLY what I was going through. Genuinely felt as though she was too good to be true. Months later, I can say without a doubt that Lashara has completely changed my life!! She pumps energy into me in the wee hours of the morning, we work hard, stay focused but also have SUCH a laugh together. She totally gets that life gets in the way and that it is OK to reward yourself every now and again. You really feel as though you're working TOGETHER. She is always on the end of a whatsapp message for any advice, update or if you want to tell her that you've eaten a bowl of haribo :p I can't rate Lashara high enough, she's beyond amazing!

Lashara was very extremely thoughtful in her training and particularised it to my needs. She is warm and has an encouraging approach to lifestyle change and fitness. Lashara was able to highlight medical needs immiately and trains in a responsible way. This was ideal for me a newcomer to training and I felt in safe hands in her supervision. Her enthusiasm for health and fitness is certainly infectious. Amazing!

Lashara is a great motivator and trainer as well as having great technical expertise. What I like the most is that every session is different, with new and different approaches/exercise routines, and pushes you to work hard. I specifically appreciate her attention to detail when it comes to form and how the little adjustments make big differences. A friendly and social person with a a great sense of fun, a real pleasure to work with and highly recommended.

I am so glad I met this amazing lady! Since I started this personal training, I feel much more confident. It’s a long journey but I progress every month. We have fun every session and I always feel supported. She listen a lot and she is very understanding. It took me time to starts but I definitely picked the right trainer :)

Working with Lashara has been a journey that I didn’t expect but needed! From the first session I spent with Lashara I could tell she was the bubbly, outgoing and positive voice of reason I needed in my life. We worked out a plan that I wanted to achieve, and since then I have been working towards a better me. Although I have stumbled a few times, Lashara is always there to pick me back up and remind me that I need to look at the bigger picture. I feel so much better in myself thanks to her support and help over the past few months. I plan to continue to work with her on achieving my goals.

Never a dull session . The hour twice a week always flies by due to a variety of excersise and inspiration. We laugh and I occasionally has a tantrum over inch worms!! Lashara is professional, intelligent and passionate at what she does.

Meet Lashara

I’m a South African entrepreneur, personal trainer, nature lover, yoga teacher in training and nutritional coach with the aim to help others make informed and positive changes to their lives. My training style is focused on strength and conditioning with a special interest in free movement like yoga and dance to help compliment more intensity training. My fiercely energetic personality and strong work ethic makes sessions dynamic, fun and spicy! I have a background in martial arts and dancing from my childhood, and as an adult I have enjoyed discovering climbing, CrossFit and weight training. These different disciplines have influenced my teaching style and helped me understand the human body more deeply. Fit Living is where you’ll find me doing what I do best and absolutely love - coaching! My humble space is where I train clients online with one-to-one, in semi-private groups and fitness classes and yoga. I take a no nonsense approach to health, training, eating well and self-care, and I love sharing what I've learnt along the way! I embarked on my fitness journey with the mission to work on my mental and physical health - I was desperate for change! I learnt new habits to help me stay active and found a focus in my life after experimenting with many diets trying to lose weight. It’s through my own experience that I’ve gained insight into what works well, and I can tell you now it’s about being flexible, consistent and disciplined. What should customers know about your pricing? (E.g. estimates, discounts, fees, package pricing)
I do not work on pure hourly rates as my services are tailored to your needs and we find a package that works for you. I do offer one off sessions at £75 for an hour and there are packages available that will bring the cost down to £65 per an hour for only personal training. I teach online classes that start at £5 and I also have a membership with access to a private FB group for £34.99 a month. I also offer weight loss transformation coaching, please book a call to discuss what package would be best for you as this is a tailored service.
What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?
We have an initial call to set your goals, workout what will be best for your space, equipment and fitness level. The initial call is a way for us to get to know each other and learn more about how best to work together.
What education or training is most relevant to your work?
I have done a strength and conditioning course as well as my personal training, nutrition, TRX course, 2 year yoga course and a NLP mindset coaching course. I have a keen interest in food, fuelling your lifestyle correctly and building habits that help you make changes in your life that support better health and wellness.
Do you have tips or advice for someone hiring a pro in your line of work?
Make sure you find someone you get along with as you will most likely work with them for a while so it needs to be someone you can build a good working relationship with.
What questions should customers have ready before speaking to pros about their project?
I think it is important to ask yourself what changes need to be made and ask the trainer how they can help you make those changes? It's about being honest with yourself and the professional.
What are some good examples of past customers?
Most of my clients have stayed with me and continued to work with me in different capacities. I offer a range of different services and I always try and work within your budget and goals. All my clients gain a new confidence with training and learn how to incorporate healthy eating and exercise into their lifestyles.
How did you first get into this line of work?
I went through my own fitness journey and enjoyed helping others do the same!
