About Kyle Langley

Kyle’s love for music started when he was lucky enough to go and see Michael Jackson live at Wembley aged 9. After seeing his first concert he was hooked for life. His family bought him his first drum kit as he kept playing drum sounds on the keyboard and trying to drum along with records. He started having 1-2-1 lessons at the age of 10 and has never looked back. Kyle graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), achieving a BA (Hons) specialising in Drums and Percussion. When at ACM Kyle studied under Pete Riley, Mike Sturgis and Stu Roberts. After leaving ACM Kyle then went on to study with the late great Bob Armstrong. These years of lessons were invaluable to his progress as a musician. Kyle has adopted the teaching methods he learnt over these years. Kyle has over 15 years of live and recording experience, both with function bands (party cover bands) and original projects. Kyle is currently working with up and coming Indie Rock band The Crooked Kings and Funk-Jazz band Mr Little’s Noisy Band.
