Jamie's Music Club

Jamie helped me with my very first steps into playing the guitar. He has a calm and confident manner equalled with copious amounts of patience. Jamie is a good listener, he gets to know what sort of music you're into and what you want to get out of playing. He is mindful that too much theory can get in the way of enjoyment in the early stages, so my lessons were always fun and gradually I built up musical and technical knowledge along the way. I would not hesitate in recommending Jamie to anyone wanting to have guitar lessons or ukulele for that matter (Jamie is currently teaching my son). So give him a call.

Jamie has been teaching me the bass for 18 months now and we have made great progress during this time. I started as a beginner and we have gradually built up a good repertoire of songs with varying styles. As well as the many songs, he has also introduced scales, chords, rhythms and techniques. He is meticulous in his preparation and demonstrates great talent and knowledge. Jamie is very personable and enthusiastic and I would highly recommend him as a teacher.

Having never had any music tuition (or experience) before, Jamie came personally recommended, and has been a thorough and interesting teacher. Lessons were tailored to what I was keen to learn, as well as more traditional songs. Jamie would always make sure lessons were structured to teach something new, but without pushing my ability too far. A fine tutor, highly recommended.

Jamie has a fabulous rapport with my child and keeps him enthused, motivated and challenged. I would definitely recommend him as a teacher for all ages.
