I signed up for personal training in spring 2018, a few months before getting married, as I wanted to tone up. James is the first personal trainer I’ve had and he has been fantastic. He is very knowledgeable about the body, nutrition and mindfulness. He’s very down to earth and easy to get along with. Since going to personal training I’ve got a lot stronger and toned up. My diet and wellness have also improved massively. I work at a desk all day, so we’ve also been working on improving my posture. This is also getting better and I have less aches and pains in my neck and shoulders. James is very passionate about personal training, he tailors the sessions to each client and always keeps it interesting. Pushing me a little more each time. 6 months in and I feel so much healthier, the compliments have also been flowing in! I can’t recommend James any more highly. I just wish I’d started sooner!

I had lost my motivation of going to the gym for a long time. Every day was a struggle for me, especially with the day to day routine, which unfortunately can take over if you let it. When I found James I was in desperate need of help and some guidance in order to bring myself back. I could not be happier with the results, as he has been nothing but, efficient, extremely flexible, approachable, caring and a great motivator with lots of knowledge. He taught me some of his techniques that worked and kept monitoring the actual exercises to ensure I was doing it correctly, and when my body was about to get tired, he managed to find the last bit of strength in me, making me feel a lot better from day one, not only physically but mentally too. For that reason I highly recommend him, whatever your goals are, if in doubt, have a word with James to try and get you back on track. Whatever you do, I would advise you to just start it as oppose to delaying it, It may seem hard to begin with but with his help, in time it’ll be a lot easier for you. He can also give you some tips on food routine in order to help you achieve your goal even faster. Thank you once again James for being so great, and I am glad I was able to find someone of your calibre.

I am very happy with the way James teaches. He will show me new exercises I can do by myself at the gym as well as at home. James will always show me the correct way of doing an exercises or correct me when I'm doing something wrong. James is very approachable and friendly. He will plan your session based on what you have asked and whether you have an injury. Thank you James for your support!

I am extremely happy with the progress I have made so far with James.. He is very professional, friendly and know's his stuff. I used to hate working out and dread going to the gym but now thanks to James I actually enjoy it and now look forward to my training sessions each week and when I am struggling, whinging for England and just want to give up he says those magic little words of encouragement of only 5 more to go, you can do it, last 10 seconds which believe it or not really does help. Thank you James for all your help and helping me find the love of fitness again!!

When I first started looking for a personal trainer I was out of shape and unfit. Three years previously I became unwell with Guillain-Barre Syndrome and unable to walk. I have been working with James for over 3 months now. The result is that I have dropped a clothes size and fit into my 32 inch jeans with ease, I am leaner and toned- friends and family have commented on how leaner I look and how much happier and confident I am in myself. I have almost regained the fitness level I had before my illness and I am stronger. I enjoy my workouts and regained my enjoyment of fitness. James knows his stuff and I feel I have gained knowledge in how to target the muscles I am working on. James practices what he preaches, is attentive, knows his subject inside out and passionate about his job!

I've been working with James for nearly two years now. In that time I have lost 35 pounds and have pretty much streamlined my body. I feel so much fitter and healthier. My only wish is that I started it all 10 years ago instead of struggling along on my own. James has helped me with my fitness, strength, posture, diet and motivation. He is flexible and I sometimes train in the gym or the park, we've even trained in my garden. I also attend his Group fitness classes which are great fun.
