About Jake Priestley Music Tutor

Music is something special that brings people together and creates a bond. Do you have the inclination to learn a musical instrument? Or perhaps you are keen to discover more about the history of music? My name is Jake and I am a musician and tutor based in Norbury (SW16), specialising in guitar, bass guitar, ukulele and piano lessons as well as music theory. My previous experience consists of 2 years of private tuition and 1 year of tuition at a Yamaha Private Music School teaching all ages with either one-on-one tutoring or group classes. I have had several collaborations with musicians like Hannah Paris, Rebel and Records, the Stereosonics, and more. My teaching sessions are customised based on each individual’s ability and style. I also provide music theory and history so that my students will not just gain the skills but dig a bit deeper and study it from a historical perspective as well. I strive to make my lessons an enjoyable and fun experience for my students so they stay inspired and I encourage them to continue playing long after our session has ended. Based on the convenience of my students, they can either come to me or I can travel to where they are located to hold my classes. Additionally, I also offer online lessons if my students indicate a preference for.
