About Jack Webb - Life Coach and Nutritionist

I have been teaching now for 9 years and transforming lives for the past 15 years. Now I want to help other professionals achieve their potential in life! Personally, I have represented Great Britain internationally for many years and I have been a national champion a number of times in the Olympic sport of Judo. I have also competed in a number of other sports and I exercise regularly. I completed BSc in Sports Coaching on the top scholarship in 2008 whilst being a full-time athlete. After university I became self-employed coaching judo in schools and founding judo clubs in two local rugby clubs. I progressed in my career and became a qualified Physical Education Teacher in 2012, at the same time I was on the Great Britain Judo Team, for the 2012 Olympics in London, training all over the country preparing the team for the Olympics. Since teaching in mainstream, alternative provisions and now teaching young people with Special Educational and Complex Needs, I am now looking for a new challenge. I want to support you to have a more positive, healthier life, with awesome opportunities, just for you! Whether you want to become fitter, stronger, more active or focused, change your body shape or career, I am here to support you to achieve it. I have a creative, enthusiastic, kind approach helping you to adapt and not give up on your life goals! I hope to hear from you soon.

Health and Wellness Coaching
Nicholas L.'s review on Jan 06, 2021

Jack has always been encouraging and complimentary however constantly pushing for the best from everyone. Jack is one of the most inclusive professionals I have worked with and sees strengths and potential in everyone. I had received some coaching from Jack in the past. He was flexible in his approach, he inspired commitment to the program and kept me focused on goals I didn't even know I had. As an athlete Jack is inspirational and has an alpha attitude towards competition and challenges is like nothing I've known in anyone else and aspects of his life and work, he shared and encouraged this in those he taught. He's well travelled and open minded and offers unique perspectives on training, many of these techniques I still use and share with others today. I completed charitable coaching sessions as a result of Jack's intervention and gained lots of self confidence and worth. In the face of adversity Jack has overcome many challenges in his own way, remaining true to himself and satisfied with the knowledge his success is carved out himself.

Career Coaching
Ebony D.'s review on Jan 08, 2021

As someone who is an international athlete, life can be a bit hectic. Especially when your sport doesn’t have a season. (Meaning I travel all year round). It’s not unusual for me to visit 3 countries in a month.. The services received have really generated a shift in my attitude. Ultimately allowing me to thaw away old habits of avoidance. The removal of these barriers have helped me both navigate my career and the relationships most important to me. I found a bonus with Jack, him having a sporting background meant him providing tailored and strategic programs. It has been and is a breath of fresh air working with Jack. Being in Olympic qualification and waiting to debut at what would of been a special Olympics for my sport of Judo (Japan the home nation). Was a devastating blow for me last year. To build someone back from that isn’t an easy feat, but Jack did. Jack’s services have been and are an Invaluable asset. I will be continuing to use them. Simply said I couldn’t recommend him enough!

I'm so pleased you were able to leave a review, never mind one such of good quality. Thank you so much for sparring time to complete it, I'm sure others will appreciate this review as much as me. Keep up the intense training and good luck for your next international tournament.

What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?
Depending on the clients needs, the initial consultation length can vary. After the consultation, via video call, we can begin our training or meetings. Where the targets will be developed together and transformation can take place.
What education or training is most relevant to your work?
Whilst being an elite performer I learnt so much about training and weight loss. Since completing my BSc in Sports Coaching it became more clear on how to improve elite performers, however most modules are also extremely important for a recreational athlete aiming to achieve healthy body and mind. I am currently studying a level 4 qualification in nutrition and level 3 qualification in life coaching.
Do you have tips or advice for someone hiring a pro in your line of work?
Everyone is different and after the first consultation, have a think if you like their approach and feel if you would work well together. Follow your gut instinct and live in the present, if you feel they will try their hardest and listen to you, there is nothing you can lose, go for it!
What questions should customers have ready before speaking to pros about their project?
What are you pre-existing skills and what are you aspirations for the future? Most importantly for me is, what are your passions and/or what passions would you like to have?
What are some good examples of past customers?
I have had many, older and younger than myself, from all different cultures and background. I am enthusiastic and I will hopefully relate to you well.
Describe a recent project that went well. Scope? How long did it take?
I have worked for the National Citizen Service, through a company called The Challenge, I worked in the summer for a total of 3 weeks, on a residential trip. All young people were from the ages of 15-17 years old and from my local area around Sandwell. I have worked with this company for two years now. The last year was in 2018, before this international pandemic hit our country. My responsibility was to assist leading this large wave of young people and look after and care for their pastoral care needs, from barriers to learning to medical and behavioral issues. Within these 90 young people, there was a dozen or so, young people who have just became residents of the country, and they were still learning basic English language and culture. The project was a massive success, everyone completed the course and developed extensively from the experiences encountered. My favourite week, was also the most demanding, as were on a camping site, sleeping in tents and it rained constantly, it was physically and mentally demanding for the leaders as well as the young people. However, we all pulled together extremely well, having lots of fun times and many friendships were made.
How did you first get into this line of work?
Since having awesome parents as role models, they coached me judo and I wanted to coach others the same. This gave me outstanding love for people and love for learning about the culture of others. I always want the best for the people I come in contact with, therefore this was a natural progression for me. I really enjoy researching and learning topics that I, and many other, have been mislead by big companies and advertisements. I like to learn the truth and then help others see the truth also, not just to help me feel good but to help others have the best chance in achieving the goals they want to achieve.

From completing my own journey and changing my outlook on diet and how it has helped me, it would be selfish of me not share how I achieved it. From eating one meal and not understanding why I was putting weight on to now eating 5/6 meals a day and enjoying real chewy food without feeling guilty.
