About Gordon Wallace Master Doodler and Graphics Guy

I'm skilled in many fields in the graphic arts and open to learn new ones in the process. My number one skill is drawing, but I have worked in many fields, including photography, paint, video, and digital techinques. Graduate in computer animation (BSc). Good at creative writing and research and have a scientist eye for analysing anything and research, if required. I am a very creative person who is willing to collaborate or work alone if needed.

Gordon was excellent to work with. He was great at interpreting what was needed and produced materials in great timing. I'd highly recommend him.

Questions & answers

What should customers know about your pricing? (E.g. estimates, discounts, fees, package pricing)
My minimum is £11 per hour. I am open to large commissions that are paid in one total.
What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?
I prefer text or email for initial contact. I'll ask for everything you require - size, colour, medium, whatever. If you have some idea to begin with - great.
What education or training is most relevant to your work?
Bachelor's degree in computer animation and digital art as well as college grades in graphic design and interactive multimedia creation.
Do you have tips or advice for someone hiring a pro in your line of work?
Everyone is different. Each person has their own ideas for a solution in creative fields, so don't be afraid with someone new. They might come with a great idea no experienced pro could come up with.
What questions should customer have ready before speaking to pros about their project?
Any question you like.
What are some good examples of past customers?
I have previously volunteered as an editor of a newsletter for volunteers for the Glasgow branch of the National Autistic Society. I designed a number of things for them as well, including a poster for an art exhibition in 2016.
Describe a recent project that went well. Scope? How long did it take?
During the summer of 2020 I decided to creative an ongoing series of information graphics. They cover any subject and are made of one or more A3 size spreads that can be easily resized if needed. It take a least a week to make one, from research, conception and creation. You can see them by searching "snacking otaku."
How did you first get into this line of work?
I have been a doodler since I was a child. By the time in high school you have to start thinking about college/university i decided I wanted to do something that'll make use of my talents.
