What should customers know about your pricing? (E.g. estimates, discounts, fees, package pricing)
I will do this on a project by project client by client basis. My experience is used to come up with a package of costs that suits you and what you want and need.
What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?
Usually a complimentary call or meeting when we work out if there is a good fit. You need to get to trust me and be open with me and if you are not comfortable doing that it won't work. I may be able to find you someone who is a better fit for you though. I need to understand if the issues you have are something I can help with or you need a different type of expert. I won't take the work on if I don't think its right for you or I can't deliver value.
I usually charge half the fee for the agreed work and then the other half on completion of the initial project. I prefer this as it gives us both the chance to see if its right for us to keep working together or you can execute on your own for a while.

Do you have tips or advice for someone hiring a pro in your line of work?
Ask who they have helped and how, not about what they did before they started coaching
Understand your requirement for direction and or guidance, do you need someone to validate and challenge your thinking or do you need something more directional? ( I don't do the latter)
Ask what kind of clients they deliver their best results for and ask for contact details of the specific ones you are interested in.
How , will they deliver the results exactly and what will be the outcomes , written docs etc.

Describe a recent project that went well. Scope? How long did it take?
Completed a Strategic review and then hiring plan for an IFA business.
Review on one day session in the Autumn followed up with report 3 weeks later and then started work on the hiring process 3 weeks after that.
How did you first get into this line of work?
Started consulting by accident in 2012 after selling an agency business that was Googles largest customer in Europe.
After a few months purchased a franchise and got some proper training , became franchisee of the year and then Regional Director and purchased a stake in the Franchisor.
Stopped working under the franchise banner to develop my teaching work with the OU whilst still consulting and doing my NED work.
