About Garry Layden - English Teacher

Having begun my career in 1992, I have huge experience of teaching students by means of delivering large group lectures, small-group seminars and one-to-one tutorials. This experience encompasses face-to-face, distance and online settings. I also have considerable experience of working with mature students, young adults, teenagers and children within - variously - the Undergraduate, Post-Graduate, Secondary and Primary Education sectors. I have taught overseas. My knowledge of spoken and written English is extensive, and I am a published author. I have a Doctorate of Education, an MPhil, a Post-Graduate Diploma and an Honours Degree. I am self-motivated, friendly, patient, resourceful, well-organised and reliable, and I am a passionate educator.
