About Francesco Drago

I’m Francesco Drago, 26 years old, from Rome. I’ve been a photographer since I was fifteen until I discovered my passion for cinema and movies around nineteen, so I’ve started to study direction of photography. I’ve haunted two different courses, the first one was a two-year-filmmaking course with specialisation in cinematography and film shooting at “Fonderia delle Arti” of Rome, that gave me the possibility to be admitted by “Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia” of Rome, one of the best cinema school in Italy, for the three-year course of direction of photography, where I’ve also learned to be a camera operator, camera assistant, focus puller, video assist operator and a colourist. Thanks to that I’ve worked in different featured film and tv dramas and in the meantime I made different projects as a cinematographer like short movies, documentaries, web series, commercials and music videos. I’m an enthusiastic, friendly, determinated and passionate young film professional who is eager to learn and move forward in the film industry and now I’m here in London to improve my techniques and to feed my creativity.
