About Francesco Altamura
I was born in Italy in a small city near Rome in 1991. I grew up enjoying the outdoors, from this, I gained an appreciation for photography. As a result, I particularly like using natural light in my projects. My passion for photography is heavily influenced by the works of Vittorio Storaro, Roger Deakins and Emmanuel Lubezki. I decided to study Cinema and digital media in Rome and have since graduated (March 2019). While at university I filmed many short films, documentaries and music videos. In my free time, I have continued to pursue this passion of mine by taking pictures of landscapes, portraits and events. I recently moved to London to continue my development as an artist and in order to gain invaluable life experience.
