About DJ Butler
The groove of the '70s and '80s never really went away, did it? Retro music is a great crowd pleaser and is perfect for many parties, weddings, and corporate events. I am a professional DJ with over 40 years of experience, spinning music as far back since 1976. I have worked in clubs back in the day, but now I mostly do weddings and parties, with perhaps some daytime clubs, pubs, and corporate gigs thrown in for good measure. Having the distinction of actually living the music of the 70s and 80s, I play a little bit of everything right up to the present day from disco and Motown to reggae and ska, to funk, rock, and soul, and even some swing if the occasion calls for it. I have worked in the Canary Islands mainland Spain and Dublin as well as the UK I am greatly involved in my craft, but I am happy to take on requests from you or your guests for a more personalized, more bespoke party experience. I shine best in small- to medium-sized venues and events, but I am happy to accommodate parties of just about any size. Let's talk about all your party details and get started. DJ Butler was fantastic! He DJ’d at me and my wife’s 40th birthday party and he done a recce of the venue before hand and kept me informed all the way through. He gives you the choices, playlist totally in your control or genre/type and he will make the call! Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic experience working with DJ butler for our wedding. He visited the venue the day before and made contact with the venue manager without having to be asked. Everything on the day went very smoothly and the dance floor was always full. He read the room extremely well, helped enormously when we wanted my brother in law to play guitar and even filmed our candy dance for us. I would highly recommend him!

Mr. Butler rang the music for my 70th birthday party in west London. He played the kind of music we asked for, arrived early to inspect the venue and to set up. Pleasant manners, fkexible, worked well with the venue staff and the caller for the ceili part of the evening. Reliable, not the cheapest, but would recommend to anyone looking for professionalism and quality. Thank you from all my guests.
