About Davide Raisi
I'm a professional guitar player and music teacher, based in London. I’ve achieved my jazz Master degree at the conservatory “Antonio Buzzolla” of Adria (Italy) in 2016 with 110 and Praise. During my staying in Italy, I’ve attended different masterclasses with musicians like Kurt Rosenwinkel, Frank Gambale, Antonio Sanchez, John Riley, Darryl Hall, Danilo Rea. I’ve also studied arrangement for small and large ensemble with important arrangers as Roberto Spadoni, Paolo Silvestri and played in different festivals as “Modena Jazz Festival”, “Cesenatico Jazz Festival”, “Jazz for Anna” with several musicians like Shawnn Monteiro, Stefano Bedetti, John Riley, Mauro Negri and many others. I would like to start as a private music teacher, since I’ve had different experiences teaching in Italy, with students of all ages. My lessons are custom made for each student and include a wide range of topics: rhythm, ear training, instrument practice (tecnique, scales, repertorie and articulation), sight reading, elements of harmony and jazz improvisation and listening. I am a serious and trustworthy person, avaiable and flexible to do new experience. I belive that the aim of a teacher is to bring out the best of each students and make fun studying music.

My 10 year old daughter started guitar lessons just a few weeks ago with a music teacher called Davide Raisi.Davide is really polite, young person and he has fantastic music experience. Davide is ace at making contact with my child during the lesson. He recommended me to buy a guitar practice book,which is very good and helps my daughter to extend her knowledge in reading music.After only 2 lessons,I am able to see a big improvement with the knowledge my daughter gathered from him. l highly recommend Davide as he's really helpful and understanding.l see that my child is comfortable with his company and how he leads the lesson and enjoys him being her music teacher very much.Davide is always punctual.

I have taken jazz guitar lessons with various private tutors in London over the years. Davide is not only an excellent player and composer, his teaching approach exactly meets my needs as an intermediate player. Lessons combine bespoke exercises, the right amount of theory and practical advice on how to put together good solos. Davide is also a very personable guy. Highly recommended.
