My name is David Dodge and I’m a London based photographer specializing in Wedding, Portrait and Commercial commissions throughout the UK. My passion is to create stories using photographs as unique works of art and my expertise in achieving this has been acknowledged by the many clients I have been lucky enough to photograph. My style can best be described as a mix of reportage wedding photography and contemporary fashion. I use the setting and the surroundings to convey those real emotions felt by the people involved. I devote a large amount of time getting to know my clients, so that I can reflect their personalities in my photography. Being commissioned to photograph a wedding will always remain an honour and I am very aware of the fact that I am being entrusted to capture one of the most important days in a couple’s life. I take this trust very seriously and have the utmost of respect for the bride and groom and the type of wedding service they have chosen. My Photographs have been used for advertising, promotional and marketing photography through brochures, web sites, catalogues, advertising, magazines and editorial features. I also like to photograph modern architecture, portraits, interiors, product shots, corporate or public relations events, conferences, exhibitions, and functions. I have more recently taken on wedding photography after a friend asked if I would photograph their wonderful day. My aim is always to produce dynamic, vibrant and stylish imagery that aims to really catch the eye and engage the viewer. I have been lucky enough to travel and photograph most of the UK. Abroad, I have traveled to Singapore and Australia where my photography took me to another level. I have held several exhibitions of my work and been lucky enough to win a few accolades including the winner of the Essex Show 2013 Photography Award, winner of the 2012 Olympic Games – London Photography Award and a finalist in the Nikon Wildlife Photography Awards 2013.
