About Daniel Kinde

BIO: With 14 years as a drummer and a Ba graduate of SAE Institute London in Audio Production, I am able and willing to teach anyone of any skill level. Having acquired Grade 8 at GSCE and studied Diploma Level pieces during the two years after, I have a developed understanding of teaching. I have acquired technical and practical skills to provide multifaceted services within the field of sound. I have an eclectic taste in music and have worked on various projects including short films, live performance and post-production. My technical skills are influenced from an artistic background accentuating a creative and unique style. DRUMMING EXPERIENCE: Over the last 14 years I have worked with a wide variety of different musical groups (Jazz, Breakbeat,Trip-Hop and Hip-Hop etc...) This has given me a versatile knowledge of drums and how they can be played in various ways. I first started teaching music to my friends and people around me in my teenage years. Since then I started teaching to people of all ages. I've always been fascinated in seeing how beneficial learning music can be to people, from young kids to adults. MUSIC PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE: Since my time studying at SAE where I gained an overall knowledge of studio recording, I have pushed my versatility as a sound engineer and musician. I currently have a freelance role at Britannia Row Productions, where I have gained further knowledge in the world of sound. In between this, I currently perform with multiple bands varying in genres, where I have taken it on to work as engineer on various EP's and Albums. MY APPROACH: I always approach my lessons based on your own musical taste and preferences, keeping it informal and fun. I always encourage to follow your natural disposition. Apart from teaching how to play an instrument I try to give my students a wider view on the music world. From my personal experience and studies I can introduce to you some concepts of songwriting and composition or teach you how to easily record your music. I'll keep note of your progress and intentions, in this way it will be easier to reach the results you're aiming to in a more efficient way.
