About Connor Woodhouse

Newly graduated in dance teacher, specialising in urban dance. I have a BA (Hons) in Professional and Commercial Dance from Shockout Arts and Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Performing Arts. As a newly graduated teacher, I am raring to start teaching the next generation of young dancers. And as a male dancer I am hoping to become an influential role model to encourage young boys to pursue dance. It is my dream to cultivate the same passion for dance i have within the next generation. During my PGCE, i recurring piece of praise i received was the incredible ease in which i can build rapport with my students. I believe this is a major boon to my teaching practice as I am able to easily promote positive behaviour. Furthermore, I have a deep range of exercises which promote in depth understanding of movement through the adaption and variation of movement concepts.
