About Connor Heraghty
Connor Heraghty, from London, started playing the piano aged 11 and has studied at the most prestigious musical institutions. After studying with Nina Leo, Connor was awarded a place to study at The Purcell School of Music and The Royal College of Music Junior Department, receiving a full scholarship from the government’s music and dance scheme and The Mackintosh Foundation. Whilst at the Purcell School he studied under the Hungarian Pianist, Valeria Szervanskzy. Connor has performed as a soloist at many prominent concert halls such as Wigmore Hall, St. Martins in the Fields, The Barbican, The Fazoli Concert Hall Venice and Buckingham Palace. Connor has been a prize winner at competitions such as The Jacques Samuel Junior piano competition and North London Festival of Music. As of September 2012, Connor was accepted to study at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying his undergraduate Bmus (Hons) course with Professor Charles Owen. Connor has played to artists including Ronald Cavaye, Caroline Palmer, William Fong and Christopher Elton.
