Tim did a great job improving the logo I had created in an online logo maker website. I already had the concept, but Tim took it to the next level; professionalised it, improved the impact, and gave a number of variants that gave me a great visual range of options to choose from... which, in turn, made me feel more comfortable with my final choice. Once the design was agreed Tim sent an exhaustive suite of files for different uses, colour variants and layouts. He also designed accompanying business cards and company stationery. Overall, I can recommend Tim very highly. While he wasn’t the cheapest offer I had on Bidvine he was definitely great value for money... if you are looking for a very high quality product at fair value as well as top levels of professionalism then Tim fits the brief.

What should customers know about your pricing? (E.g. estimates, discounts, fees, package pricing)
Quality and experience usually comes with a price but we've tried to keep our costs low - about £45 and hour. That's cheaper than the average plumber, without the call out fee! We add value to your business through great design, poor, cheap design could cost you a fortune.
What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?
Face to face initially, over a coffee or whatever takes your fancy. Chat about the project. Then go away and produce.
What education or training is most relevant to your work?
I went to art college. Then studied graphics and advertising at University. I love art and english, which are the two essential skills you need to get on.
Do you have tips or advice for someone hiring a pro in your line of work?
Try not to rush into it and go for the first to connect. Look at the work. Don't go for the cheapest. They're cheap for a reason.
What questions should customers have ready before speaking to pros about their project?
This is our short briefing form. It helps provide the information needed to get started on your project. 1. Company/Product/Service name to be used in your branding... 2. Do you want/have a tag line (ie. “Just do it” - Nike) 3. Tell us a little more about your product/service... 4. Describe the audience you’re targeting (age, gender, interests, income, geography, etc.) 5. How do you want to be known when compared to your competitors? What’s different? 6. Do you have an idea of what you want? If so, describe in as much or as little detail as you’d like. 7. Are you currently working with any time constraints? Ideally, how soon would you like to have your project completed? 8. Any other information...
What are some good examples of past customers?
I won't name names but once a project is completed our clients always come back and use us again which is a big compliment, I think.
Describe a recent project that went well. Scope? How long did it take?
A recent project that went well was the last project. Logo design, web design, digital art, business cards, stationery, social media all completed in time for the launch day for a private equity company. Right now we're designing T shirts for a female fashion brand which involves slogans, illustration and typography.
How did you first get into this line of work?
A bit of luck, skill and hard work.
