To start with I like to formallyI introduce myself and the way I work for about 5mts. I then give space for the person to talk. Generally we go through what brought the person to therapy, what is happening, and what are the expectations. As In Integrative Body Psychotherapist, I also pay attention to the body and eventually point out my perception.

Trained at Chiron Centre as an Integrative Body Psychotherapist and Biodynamic massage practitioner gave me a deep understanding of the Body and Mind connection, how to use my perception and intuition to identify or understand non verbal communication.

I work with people from different backgrounds, ethnicity, religion , race and each individual brings their own experiences into the therapy room and the way they cope or deal with the past experiences during present life. Abuse, depression, anxiety low self-esteem are a few of the issues I often help people with. Someone I worked with,who suffered from very low confidence, anxiety and panic attacks about socializing, he was very isolated. We first explored the causes of his feelings and it was mainly the detached and emotionally unavailable parents. He could not trust anyone who be interested on him or whatever he would do or say. Talking about holidays, movies or what he liked to do during his free time in a friendly way, listening to his goals and dreams without putting him under pressure to achieve things that in reality he didn't want to, but parents did. It toke few months before he could trust me, but mainly himself. Since that he has changed his job, found a girlfriend and signed up to a acting course, something that his parents never like, as they want him to become a layer.
