About Clapham Martial Arts
Clapham Martial Arts started around 18 years ago with one class and 2 students. Time passed and now the business has 140 students along with 5 part-time teachers. My training started back when I lived in Osaka back in the late 1990’s. Here I met my Master and he taught me Korean Hapkido. 23 years later I hold the following 3rd Dan Korean Hapkido 1st Dan Hangumdo (Katana) 1st Dan ABC knife combat (Chris Crudelli)

Jon has coached each of the three of our children and my eldest is now a black belt and as a teenage girl who still loves to train I am really happy. My son reached red and black belt and my youngest daughter is making good progress and is also gaining additional strength and confidence. Jon maintains discipline whilst keeping it fun and a sense of humour with the younger members of the class.
